(Rolla) – Mark Twain National Forest will be offering a fee free weekend for National Public Lands Day and National Tribal Lands Day from Friday, September 27, to Sunday, September 29.
National Public Lands Day is the nation’s largest hands-on volunteer weekend to improve and enhance public lands Americans enjoy.
No fees will be charged for camping in non-reserved sites at areas operated by Mark Twain National Forest on Friday, September 27and Saturday night, September 28. Normal fees still apply to reserved sites, those operated by concessionaires and for use of motorized trails.
