Henderson Man Turns Himself in After Fleeing from Police, Hit with Drug Charges

(Mountain Home) a�� A rural Henderson man who fled from the Arkansas State Police at a Mountain Home shopping center Tuesday afternoon turned himself in to the Baxter County Detention Center Wednesday afternoon on an outstanding felony drug warrant and on state police charges stemming from the incident Tuesday.

25-year-old Nicholas Weeks was held on $51,455 bond on multiple charges including Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Distribution Near Certain Facilities, and Fleeing from an Officer.

Weeks was wanted after investigators reportedly bought narcotic pills from him in April and May 2012.

He appeared in court Thursday on the felony charges, and will appear in District Court on the misdemeanor charges on October 11.
